Extensive research show that Omega-3 supplementation with DHA/EPA
from fish oil help reduce inflammation and associated arthritis pains,
rheumatoid arthritis symptoms and allow patients to reduce their
dependence on NSAIDs and corticosteroids. Various scientific clinical
studies have established that a dose of 2.6 g/day or more of n-3 fatty
acid supplementation (DHA+EPA) generally reduce the symptoms of
Rheumatoid Arthritis after about 12 weeks; consuming a larger dose will
reduce this latency period*.
Additional nutrients supported by various clinical studies include
Glucosamine, Chondroitin, Green-Lipid Mussel Extract (GLME such as in
Lyprinol), Collagen (UC-II, Biocell Collagen) and Hyaluronic Acid (Joint
Fluid). Additional nutritional oils include GLA from Borage oil or similar sources.
