Flax Oil

Flaxseed oil contains the essential fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which the body converts into eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), the omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oil. The rate of conversion can be low in some people and fish oil with EPA and DHA may be relevant. It is good to have omega-3 from a variety of sources such as fish (EPA, DHA) and plant sources such as flax (ALA).
